Introducing Seer’s Guide to Pinterest

Today, we launched our Pinterest Guide for Marketers, a resource that’s been two years in the making. It’s a resource that we hope can help others to learn more about a platform where we see significant opportunity and to guide marketers to utilize the channel in the best possible way for their business.

This guide started out as a task force, which means we created a group of Seer team members interested in Pinterest, so we could all learn more together. We began by researching how clients were currently using the platform and its natural impact, as well as taking a look at brands who had industry-leading profiles. Then, we dove into best practices and how Pinterest influencers got to where they are today. Finally, we rolled up our sleeves and got our hands dirty by optimizing a few of our clients’ accounts.

What’d We Learn?

Lots, and our knowledge is continuing to evolve. What we have so far, from all of our successes and missteps, is compiled and organized into the guide you see today.

In addition to that knowledge, we also learned the potential impact of these strategies if done right. We’ve seen double-digit increases in referral traffic and revenue for profiles we’ve worked on, even generating 1,450% growth for a specific content piece marketed on Pinterest.

What’s Next?

Pinterest is continuing to grow in reach and features, so we’re not finished with creating resources for it yet. As Pinterest makes updates (like their new compatibility with Buffer), our team will be there to produce content that helps you digest those updates and how can they impact your business.

Stay tuned to our blog and the guide to be kept in the loop for all things Pinterest!
